Receiver of numerous awards and prizes; most important among them: the Grand Prix of the KONTRAPUNKT 2003, the prize at the Festiwal Prapremier (2004), the Magnolia Award (KONTRAPUNKT 2005), the prize at the Festival of Contemporary Drama RZECZYWISTOŚĆ PRZEDSTAWIONA (2007), The “Laur Konrada” Award of the 10th All-Polish Festival of the Art of Directing INTERPRETACJE (2008), the Journalists Award of the 19th International Theatrical Festival KONTAKT (2009). Nominated to the “Paszport Polityki” Award 2008.
ANETA KYZIOŁ
graduated from Theatre Studies Faculty of the Warsaw’s Theatrical Academy, and the post-grad Journalism at the University of Warsaw. Journalist and reviewer, for last seven years associated with the cultural section of the “Polityka” weekly magazine.
MARCIN LIBER
director collaborating with the Szczecin’s Współczesny Theatre, and Warsaw’s Dramatyczny Theatre, author and curator of the “Dry Dock” project in the Warsaw’s Nowy Theatre.
JAN MACIEJOWSKI
director, graduated from Warsaw’s State Theatrical Academy (1953), teacher, lecturer of theatrical academies on Warsaw and Krakow, and The Leon Schiller’s National Higher School of Film, Television and Theatre in Łódź; manager of theatres in Koszalin, Szczecin and Łódź (1960–1979). Laureate of many Polish and international artistic awards for his works as a director and pedagogue. He prepared over 250 production for theatre, opera and television, in Poland and abroad. He accomplished a series of Shakespearean productions performed on the same stage (based on the project of Zofia Wierchowicz), called by critics “a machine to play Shakespeare” (among others “Othello”, “Henry IV”, “Richard III”, “Hamlet”).
JANUSZ STOLARSKI
ctor, graduated from State Theatrical Academy in Krakow, co-author of the Presently Independent Society of Various Theatrical Activities ANTRAKT (1994), actor of the Sekta Theatre, established by Lech Raczak, and of the Poznań’s Polski Theatre (1990–2002). He was a guest-actor of the STU Theatre in Krakow (2000–2002), and collaborator of director Mirosław Kocur, Teatr Ósmego Dnia (1998–2006), and the Polski Teatr Tańca [Polish Dance Theatre] (2005). Since 2003 he’s collaborated with Marcin Liber – in UstaUsta Theatre (among others “Death of a Squirrel-Man”, “Catherine de’ Medici”). Presently an actor of Warsaw’s Studio Theatre.
