PROTOCOL OF THE GRAND PRIX,
or THE GREAT AWARD OF THE AUDIENCE OF THE FORTY FIFTH SMALL THEATRE FESTIVAL “KONTRAPUNKT 2010

The Scrutiny Committee of the Forty Fifth edition of the Small Theatre Forms Festival “KONTRAPUNKT 2010” composed of:

  2. Izabela Krupa
  3. Jadwiga Wójcik

after opening the ballot and counting the votes, stated that 151 people had participated in the audience plebiscite, voting for 15 of 16 competing performances.

GRAND PRIX, or THE GREAT AWARD OF THE AUDIENCE amount of 10,000 PLN and the statuette funded by the Mayor of the City of Szczecin is granted to the performance "LIPIEC" [JULY] directed by Ivan Vyrypaev 41 votes.

PROTOCOL OF THE JURY OF THE FORTY FIFTH SMALL FORM THEATRE FESTIVAL “KONTRAPUNKT 2010”

The Jury composed of: Aneta Kyzioł, Marcin Liber, Jan Maciejowski, Janusz Stolarski, after watching sixteen contest performances unanimously decided to award the following prizes:

Three honorable mentions 1,000 PLN each:

1. To Miet Warlop – for the idea and presentation of the performance “Big heap/Mountain. Proposition 2: Reconstruction”.

2. To Andreas Berger – for composition and space of sound in the performance “Posing Project B – The Art of Seduction”.

3. To Szymon Czacki playing the role of Kaspar in the performance “Kaspar” based on Peter Handke play, directed by Barbara Wysocka – for teaching us significance and value of a word.

The Kazimierz Krzanowski Promotional Award in the amount of 2,500 PLN – to Karolina Gruszka, the performer of the Ivan Vyrypaev’s text “Lipiec” [July]– for introducing us to madness.

The Zygmunt Duczyński Award for the Artistic Personality of the Festival in the amount of 3,000 PLN – to Kate McIntosh – for the project, script and acting in “Dark Matter” and for transforming that dark matter into an ironic, charming and bitter philosophical tale.

The Magnolia Award – The Award of the City of Szczecin in the amount of 5,000 PLN – to Liquid Loft – authors of the performance “Posing Project B – The Art of Seduction” – for their special sensitivity to image, sound and movement.

The Marshal of West Pomeranian Voivodeship Award in the amount of 10,000 PLN – to the performance “Niech żyje wojna!!!” [Long Live the War!!!] of the Jerzy Szaniawski Theatre from Wałbrzych – for their creative courage to attack a myth.

The Minister of Culture Award in the amount of 10,000 PLN for the best performance – to the performance “Dritte Generation” [Thrid Generation] directed by Yael Ronen, co-production of Berlin’s Schaubühne, The Habima, Israel’s National Theatre in Tel Aviv and Ruhrtriennale 2009 – for their creative discourse with the audience about most difficult and acute issues and for pertinence of their theatrical language developing it into art.

The journalists accredited to the Forty-Fifth Small Theatre Forms Festival Kontrapunkt 2010 decided to award their own prize endowed by the editing boards of: “Kurier Szczeciński” daily newspaper, Polskie Radio Szczecin, “Pogranicza” bimonthly magazine and Stetinum.pl regional web portal

The Golden Review – honourable award of editorial staff of the “Mała Forma” the daily journal of the 45th edition of the SMALL THEATRE FORMS FESTIVAL “KONTRAPUNKT 2010”
