SEIGRADI.CONCERTO PER VOCE E MUSICHE SINTETICHE
SEIGRADI.CONCERT FOR VOICE AND SYNTHETIC MUSIC

“Seigradi”, the show presented by Santasangre is a musical spectacle of light and water made in holographic technique. It was inspired by The Old Testament, The Enoch Book and The Book of Revelation of John. It’s an attempt to reinterpret a concept of apocalypse from contemporary lay perspective. The authors of the show present evolution of life and point out the cause of the contemporary world’s destruction, namely: the humans. According to the authors, the Judeo-Christian understanding of the apocalypse – as something that will happen after the end of the world regardless of us – is wrong. We the humans shape and create this world, also by means of theatre. The power of the element of water and light, shown in holographic images, filled with music, singing and body movement harmoniously unified, is presented in four acts, corresponding with four states distinguished by Aristotle in his first book of Physics. The dramatic structure of the show refers to the structure of symphony. It is divided in four parts: I. Introduction (Phase generation and corruption)
II. Exposition (Phase qualitative adjustement)
III. Development (Phase increase and decrease)
IV. Resumption (Phase local movement or motion.
